Game Writer & Narrative Designer
Lex Fézler
Narrative Designer/Project Manager
To practice writing characters in short bursts of time, I used a randomized game idea generator (https://letsmakeagame.net/game-idea-generator/) to attain prompts for me to create characters for. I focused on crafting some specific traits that would make sense for the fictional game, its mechanics, and setting. Each character has a bio of under 150 words, 5 example barks, an important item unique to them, and an illustration, all created by me.

Sample of Branching Dialogue in Articy
I created a PC game concept for my Narrative Design course at university and wrote a branching dialogue sequence in Articy: Draft for it. The game's story and mechanics revolve around a psychological horror-infused time-loop mystery.
This excerpt is a conversation between the protagonist and her colleague.
Dialogue Node Tool Requirements
For one of my university group projects, I worked with our team's programmer to create a dialogue node tool in Unity. I researched existing dialogue tools such as Twine and Articy, outlined their pros and cons for our use case, and created a list of requirements. I then used the MSCW method to organize them in order of importance.
